Investors of choice in the Equity Gap
We define the equity gap as being the market space that has been vacated by most institutional private equity investors as they have raised ever-larger funds, leaving relatively few investors prepared to invest amounts of much less than £10m.
KCP was set up to focus exclusively on businesses operating within this equity gap. Following a busy first full financial year that saw us complete a total of four deals, we collaborated with data provider, Corpfin Worldwide, to explore and analyse activity in the equity gap. The findings made for interesting reading and formed the basis of our first annual review.
