The leading food intolerance testing company has relocated from York Science Park to a new home at Monks Cross.

The firm’s laboratory, headquarters and business-to-business brand Lorisian, have all moved this month to an office space with new state-of the-art facilities at Triune Court on Monks Cross Drive. YorkTest has taken on 36 members of staff over the past 18 months and now plans to invest in its workforce by a further 20%.

We’re extremely pleased with our new office at Monks Cross. This is an exciting time for everyone at YorkTest. Our new headquarters have been tailored and made bespoke to our specific needs. We have a state-of-the-art laboratory, which looks fantastic and our expert scientists are loving their brand-new space. Our mission is to provide exceptional wellness related testing and support services that empower people and businesses to take action to improve their health and quality of life. The move to a larger office will allow us to invest in our staff further, so we can help more people every day and continue to provide our customers with the excellent service that we have been able to demonstrate for more than 35 years. We’re very proud of our Yorkshire heritage and are delighted to say this move will help the local economy by creating more new jobs in York.

All contact telephone numbers and email addresses for YorkTest will remain the same to ensure continuity of care for the company’s customers.

The healthcare business also announced the exciting news last month that legendary British track and field star Sally Gunnell OBE is the new Brand Ambassador for YorkTest.

The company was founded in York in 1982 and has more than 35 years’ worth of experience in diagnostic testing. YorkTest began trading in just two countries, in the UK and Ireland, and now trades in 49 territories with plans to expand further.

Moving to bigger headquarters will allow us to extend our reach globally to help more people across the world take action to improve their health and wellbeing. Everyone at YorkTest is thrilled about this new chapter for us as a company.

YorkTest have more than 35 years’ worth of experience in diagnostic testing and are chosen by 50% of the UK food intolerance testing market. They were also recently named Food Intolerance Testing Company of the Year for 2018 in the UK Enterprise Awards.

At YorkTest, the customer’s journey of their food intolerance test starts and ends in one place – everything from placing an order, dispatching a kit to analysing IgG reactions to up to 208 food and drink ingredients is carried out in the company’s ISO-standard laboratory.

The results of the YorkTest 2017 customer survey revealed that four out of five customers saw improvements in their health after following a YorkTest programme. Out of those who saw improvements, 89% did so within a month and 69% did so within just two weeks.
