“I love being part of a small group of like-minded people and working with dynamic companies - this is a really exciting area of the market in which to work and can generate great returns.”
I joined KCP as Non-Executive Chairman in 2011 having retired from Barclays Private Equity where I spent 26 years, latterly as Co-Head and Chairman of the Investment Committee. I have a wide experience of all aspects of private equity having been involved in many successful transactions in a variety of sectors. Prior to Barclays, I spent six years in industry as a Financial Controller/Director, gaining experience in distribution and information technology businesses after qualifying as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand and gaining a degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College. Outside of KCP, I live with my wife and spend time with my seven children at our home in Surrey. In my spare time I play tennis and guitar, but not at the same time.
