Ellie Nicholls Steps Up to Investment Director Role
Key Capital Partners is delighted to announce the promotion of Ellie Nicholls to Investment Director.

Since joining the firm, Ellie has become a highly valued member of the investment team, making a significant contribution across both new investment opportunities and portfolio company initiatives. Over the past 18 months, she has played a critical role in supporting the firm’s growth, bringing a combination of commercial insight, dedication and exceptional execution capability to every aspect of her work.
Based in Key Capital Partners’ London office, Ellie works alongside James Excell and Phil Duquenoy supporting the origination, evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, as well as developing relationships across the adviser community and wider deal ecosystem. She has been instrumental in driving deal flow, sourcing new opportunities and supporting management teams throughout the investment process.
Alongside her investment responsibilities, Ellie serves on the boards of portfolio companies Smarter Services, Fuel Learning and Nevetal, working with management teams to help accelerate growth and deliver strategic objectives.
Her promotion reflects both her outstanding contribution to the business and her growing impact across the firm’s portfolio.
