Commenting on his promotion, Matt Tice said:

“I’m excited to be stepping up to Partner at Key Capital Partners.

Since joining Key in 2018, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some excellent businesses and management teams.  Each deal has been different, but they’ve all reinforced what I enjoy most about this business – there remains real opportunity for growth and success in our part of the market.

This promotion also comes at a great time for the firm. We have an experienced and energised team, a portfolio we’re proud of and, importantly, further capital to deploy. We’re seeing strong deal flow in our target sectors and continue to meet owners of high-quality businesses looking to partner with us to support their next stage of growth.

We’re looking forward to the opportunities ahead and continuing to build on the momentum we have as a firm”.

James Hall, Managing Partner, added:

“I am delighted to congratulate Matt on his promotion to Partner. Since joining the firm, he has made an outstanding contribution, playing an integral role across a number of areas of the business.

Matt combines strong commercial judgement with a collaborative approach that has earned the trust and respect of colleagues, management teams and advisers alike. He is an asset to the firm, and this promotion recognises not only his achievements to date but also the important role he will continue to play as we grow.

With a strong pipeline of opportunities ahead and an exciting period for the firm, I look forward to continuing to work alongside Matt as we back ambitious businesses and create long-term value for our portfolio companies, investors and management teams.”

Congratulations to Matt on his well-deserved promotion.
